Return Pilates is at Level 1, 293 Wattletree Road, Malvern East. We’re above the Victorian Dental Group – our door is to the right of their shop.
By train, the closest station is Malvern on the Cranbourne, Frankston and Pakenham lines. It’s 1.3 km from the studio.
The number 5 tram and number 624 bus both have stops on the corner of Wattletree and Tooronga Roads.
If riding, you can park your bicycle at the front of the studio.
Yes. Download our guide to parking in the area. There are many parking options on Wattletree Road and the surrounding streets. Please be wary of the clearway times on Wattletree Road.
If you are new to Return, please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your class start time. The studio opens 10 minutes before each class so you can meet your instructor and familiarise yourself with the reformers and studio space.
Please complete the required exercise waiver through our booking platform, Momence at the time of purchasing your first pack.
Our classes start on time and begin with a warm-up component. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of your class. This will allow ample time for check-in and getting set up.
Once the studio doors are closed, we ask that you do not enter.
Interruptions can disturb the flow of the class and compromise the safety of the participants.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund your payment for this class.
Please familiarise yourself with our cancellation policy.
To avoid charges, and allow someone on the waiting list to take your spot, please cancel at least 6 hours in advance.
Easily manage bookings via our app or your Momenceaccount.
Congratulations if you're expecting! If you are pregnant, please inform us as early as possible before participating in our Pilates classes. You can email us at info@returnpilates.com.au. You can safely attend classes until you reach 16 weeks of pregnancy.
Should you have any pregnancy-related concerns after this period, we recommend reaching out to our affiliated physiotherapy clinic, Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic. Their team can assist you in finding a Clinical Pilates class tailored to your specific needs during this time.
After giving birth, we kindly request that you have completed your 6-to-8-week post-partum check-up with your healthcare provider before returning to Pilates with us. Should you have any areas of concern, feel free to contact Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic to connect with their pre- and post-natal physiotherapist.
For more detailed information, visit Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic or review our comprehensive Pre- and Post-natal Policy.

Yes. Prior booking and payment must be made through the Return Pilates app or via our website for all classes. We highly recommend booking classes in advance as it secures your place in the class.
We recommend using the Return Pilates app. You can also book here on our website.
We understand that Pilates is appealing to all ages, however, we welcome anyone who is 16 years or older to attend our classes. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Pilates is inclusive and accessible to individuals of all ages who are physically capable of participating. While there is no upper age limit, we recommend consulting with your healthcare practitioner before joining our classes if you may be susceptible to falls, fainting, heart problems, or if you have impaired hearing or vision. Your safety and well-being are our top priority.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your eligibility to participate, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We all love our phones, but they can be distracting for both us and those nearby. So take the chance to disconnect and enjoy some "me" time.
If you have an urgent matter to deal with, we ask that you keep it short or quietly exit the studio.
In the unlikely event that Return Pilates needs to cancel, we will be in contact you via email or by phone in the days after and refund your class.
Yes, waitlists are available for our classes.
Joining a waitlist for a class is the same as you booking in and committing to a class.
Please regularly check tour account before the scheduled class time to see whether you have been added to the class.
You will receive a confirmation message and/or email if you have been added off the wait list.
Wait list cut off time is 60 minutes prior to the class time.
After booking we’ll send you a confirmation email with links to instructional videos. These show all you need to know about our equipment and basic Pilates concepts. You can also watch these videos here.
The Return Pilates Classes page will help you find the class that’s best for you.
Attendance will depend on your goals and needs. When starting, we recommend allowing at least a day’s rest between sessions. Then, as you become more familiar with how your body responds to Pilates, you can increase or decrease your attendance depending on what works for you.
If you have a cold, cough, fever, or are unwell at all, we ask that you cancel your session more than 6 hours before the start of your class.
If you fall ill within this cancellation window, please email info@returnpilates.com.au with details about your cancellation (including name, class time, and reason you need to cancel), and we will contact you as soon as possible. Read our full cancellation policy here.
In our inclusive space we're committed giving everyone equal support and attention by offering a wide variety of exercises with options for modifications for minor injuries during our classes.
However, it is not feasible to provide individualised programs in a bustling group class.
We ask that our attendees understand their limitations. If you're experiencing discomfort or in that require many alternatives during a class, our friends at Malvern Physio Clinic are brilliant at personalised care to get you back into the swing of things safely and confidently!
We are a socks-on studio, so don't forget to wear socks in your classes.
No worries if you don't have any! You can buy grip socks when you arrive. Please help us maintain a hygienic environment.
Plus, they'll enhance your grip on the reformer too
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that isn't excessively loose, allowing for freedom of movement during your session.
Unfortunately moving equipment is dangerous for children and pets so we are unable to accomodate them in the studio.
So that the studio stays uncluttered and you can focus on your class, we prefer that you use the free lockers provided to keep your valuables safe.
The Clinical Pilates offered at our sister organisation, Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic, is the ideal structure for anyone managing an injury. You will begin with an initial 1:1 assessment and be guided to the ideal structure for you and your injury.
